Experience
I received my Secondary Education master's degree from the University of Dayton and the University of Cincinnati is where I got my Psychology BS (plus an Chemical Engineering Technology Applied Science Associate). I am licensed as an Integrated Science teacher here in Ohio. I teach Advanced Placement courses and have helped students with the Ohio Graduation Science and Math test prep and ACT Science. I have taught pupils in college and high school for almost twenty years. I regard my role as that of a coach aiding my pupils in acquiring the love of learning, the desire, and the skills. I like to show my pupils the wonders of our world. From my time as a researching scientist I am able to provide interesting insights to help them develop critical thinking and overcome difficult problems. I can assist you in understanding and raising your grade in such subjects as Middle School Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Statistics, Chemistry, Psychology, Study Skills and Organization, Earth Science, Physical Science, Math, Science, and Social Studies, among others. I am available for summer tutoring, and I have experience in teaching special education students, as well.When I'm not teaching or studying I like reading, traveling, listening to music, and spending time outside with my dogs.
